Lana Del Rey..

Have you caught onto the Lana Del Rey obsession? I told myself I wouldn't, but I gave her album, Born To Die a shot and since then, I've been hooked. My personal favorites are This Is What Makes Us Girls, Video Games and Blue Jeans. I can't really explain or pin-point what it is about her music that I love so much. Nor can I explain what I love about Del Rey as an artist. Perhaps iTunes said it best - it is something about her "husky narrative [that] lingers like smoke clouds, leaving wafts of rhythmic phrasings delivered by an icy, heartbroken femme fatale."
