Brunching..

French press coffee at Friend of a Farmers, NYC

Hope your weekends are full of brunches, coffee and sweet treats! Brunching is one of my favorite things to do on Saturdays - it is best done in the company of close friends and of course, a hot pot of coffee. I'll let you in on a secret - Friend of a Farmers has the most delicious brunch in the City. You're welcome in advance.

What's in a Coffee Name?

Coffee for Jo, not, Joe
Debating on whether I should submit this to Starbucks Spelling, although it isn't as bad as my friend's. Instead of Leanne's coffee, she got Liandro's. So close.

The Artist..

'Who's That Girl?'
This past week, I watched The Artist at The Paris Theatre in New York City. I was a bit skeptical about watching a black and white silent film, but after the first ten minutes, I completely forgot about it. I was more attuned to the character's emotions, body language and the film's score. That night, I fell in love with movies all over again, and left the theatre smiling and, ironically, speechless.
